Face to Face game Harrisburg, PA (Original Alternity) posted in General Zone forum comment posted by Myridian Had session zero yesterday, one player couldn't make it, but the other made up a mechalus pilot and showed much enthusiasm. My wife will wait until the other player has a character idea then make up whatever is needed to round out a ship's crew. The mechalus player took computer skills and will tend the ship's AI as well as pilot.
. We ran through a quick firefight and he grasped the system really quickly so that's a big plus. I sent him home with a binder with an intro to the setting and a copy of the original Alt Player's Handbook to review the skills and system.
All in all a good start. We didn't set a date for the next session, we'll wait until the other player can make it., I'll work with him via email to make a character idea
