It was put out by TSR back in the day, AD&D in space with a bolted on skill system. The setting was Solar System only and there was no antigrav. and you tracked where the planets were in relation to each other to figure travel times.
It was total space opera and the setting was quite detailed in supplements

For the rules, there's Overlords of Dimension 25. But without the setting it's mostly nostalgia.

It's not easy to relate the physical ability scores directly to body weight, though Constitution seems more closely related than Strength.

Years later, Strength might influence body density. Or take something else from other games: a Size attribute that interacts with Strength and Constitution to derive various secondary stats and effects.

I posted something similar converted from Conspiracy X and influenced by an X-Files episode. I think it would need a base effect, as a game Flaw - an extension to Bad Luck as you mentioned.

A higher level character (6th) for Alternity, taking my cue this time from Buck Rogers XXVc.
She has a rocket pack

I don't think I've seen the game. Looking at the original (warning, written in the 20th century, unrevised attitudes), there might be some differences in emphasis, but sure, flying gear, a pistol and combat training should be right.

I like the look of the 1st edition deathmachine, all protruding gun barrels tracking all movement.
To be honest I never statted him up, he's more a Deus ex Machina (pun intended)

One thing I thought was a good use of Gamma World to Athas, the Dragon is a death machine. No one is sure what its purpose was, but now it tends to wake up when large masses of living things collect outside the city-states. This keeps relative peace between the City-States: the Dragon is indiscriminate and lays waste to everything it encounters.

Sesheyans have the concentration Perk for free, this represents them channelling an aspect of their ancestors/folk heroes.

T'sa run in packs, swarming anything in their path.
Fraal eat people.
Weren take the place of half giants, without the personality shifts
Most humans are mutants
Mechalus are vat grown templars
