THX-1138 (1971), directed by George Lucas (one of his first big titles). It's obvious how much of an influence this movie had on Paranoia creators. There's people being used as reactor shielding, ominous social situations, rebellion, state control, mandatory hormone suppressants, unknown outdoors, sex and relationships are banned, state confessional, happiness brainwashing, empty white endless rooms etc. If you haven't seen it you MUST see it. You know where to find it ;)
