Cerebral CoreTech QuestionHey guys!
I am gonna DM a game of Paranoia soon, and I am still deciding on which version to play. I have DMed one game with XP years ago, but now I have a physical copy of MGP Paranoia, and the cards seem to be a neat addition.
I just have one question: it is stated that, through the cerebral coretech, FC always has access to what the Troubleshooters see or hear. Of course, it doesnt do that all the time because it has to spend ressources on that and it has better things to do, but my questions is: if it can just record and review for itself everything that happened and everything that was said, how can the players actually lie effectively? It seems to me that this would take a great chunk of the fun out of the game. Of course, I could just do it differently in my game and, say, replace it with cameras that are just not set up everywhere... But then wouldn't it be weird to NOT have constant supervision if the Computer is so afraid of traitors??
Maybe some of you can clear this up for me =)
