Astrogation: Success |
It might be apparent that if not targeting any particular celestial body or orbit, if the edge of the star system is a suitable result, or if the outermost orbit of the system is 2 AU or less, an Ordinary success is all a ship needs. By whatever rules, if modifiers are -5 or better, anyone who has any business training in
drivespace astrogation gets an Ordinary success on an average situation die and 1 to 19 on the control die. Certain Flaws change this or a GM might have reasons to raise the possibility of failure for a particular scenario or campaign, but if not, I might want to call for a roll once as a learning experience and not subsequently.
