Mutant Crawl Classics posted in Gamma World forum comment posted by derek_holland I got Mutant Mutants 7 in the mail and gave it a through read through last night. Man, it is all kinds of awesome gonzo. The class is a mix of Buck O'Hare and Sonic the Hedgehog, the adventure is epic* (moreso than the one in issue 2), and the mutant human design tables in the adventure can make some very strange characters for most science fantasy games.
Three thumbs up.
* it has a few different kinds of encounters and the results of successful completion will impact the setting in several major ways.
As for Scientia Arcana, the most interesting part is the patron taint tables. The majority are interesting and can be used for springboards for brainstorming. The only ones I don't like are more along the lines of misfire results. Patron taint should have permanent results, not something that will impact the next casting or encounter.
