A druid has created a non-lethal plague that causes its victims' sweat to corrode metal ala Rusting Grasp. Unfortunately now it has inspired many other sorts of casters to try out their own equally non-lethal variants.
Fungus crawler (PF Bestiary 2) spores can infest trolls. The result is the trolls kill more crawlers but in ways that spread their spores farther. For example, keeping the carcasses on hand while raiding the surface or throwing their remains in underground rivers (something they don't do themselves).
There is a land vehicle that deforms the ground, pushing it along. It leaves a trail of broken things, from trees to castle walls.
Almost all mortal races are fearful of some shape or form, each unique to its species. This is non-magical and can affect those immune to magical fear. Such knowledge is not commonly known as too much use can reduce or eliminate the fear.
A few elven cities are nomadic as their buildings are on or in mobile plants- trees or masses of vines. They can travel the land, sea, skies and Chthonic Lands.
There are some human populations with monstrous ancestors. They were transformed when they reached the surface and forgot their past.
A simple, easy way to come up with a wild surge or curse on the spot is using two or three story cubes. One usually ends with the same results over and over. One or two modifier dice expands the options greatly.
