- The peaks absorb the health of all visitors, transferring the energy to the Earth Mother. The gods up unwanted mortals here (pests, criminals, would be god slayers) to ensure her well being.
- The peaks are a divine arena where mortals can not survive the intense powers meant to test divine might. Yes, that includes your 150th level rogue.
- The peaks are a recruitment center for an alien army. Those that say no or fail the tests are vaporized.
