Mutations
Mutations (rules, examples, misc) posted in Gamma World forum comment posted by derek_holland Mutations that improve the sense of sight could allow mutants to see something that others can not on artifact screens (tvs not force screens). These might be subliminal messages sent by the Created or others (likely long dead) to screw with people, attempts to communicate, or weird art meant for a select crowd.

There is a Dragon Magazine article that describes one defect, Abnormal Sustenance Dependency in issue 109, that alters the mutant's diet. How about a series of mutations as well? Advantageous X Feeder has many variants, far too many to describe here. Examples:
Advantageous Blood Feeder provides a tripled life span and freedom from the negative effects of aging at Ordinary, a -2 step bonus to healing checks (I forget if it is Endurance- stamina or Resolve- physical resolve) at Good, and the ability to use one of the donor's activated physical mutations once in the hour after feeding at Amazing.
Advantageous Wood Feeder provides an armored mouth and throat at Ordinary, an ability to identify woody species consumed and immunity to their toxins at Good, and an ability to learn and communicate in plant languages at Amazing.
The question I have for you is should the Good versions include the Ordinary as well and Amazing include the Ordinary and Good versions? I don't see inclusion as a penalty but I want your opinion.
