Getting under the castles is a bad idea as all of them have intense multi-elemental energies projected down. This keeps them in the air and fries anyone trying to destroy them from below.

If the deceased buried in a cairn is turned into an undead creature, the stones may animate into a form of golem that will try to destroy the undead and necromancer that defiled the cairn.
Zombie fish animated after being slain by toxic slicks search for gold coins. They swallow these and and curse them. Anyone catching the fish and keeping the coins will have their boats sunk within a week. For shore anglers and those who accept the coins as payment or gift, their houses will collapse.
Some desert hills are formed on all but indestructible diakaiju skeletons. These can be tapped for necromantic power but only by those in contact with the bones.
