Aging effects
Aging effects (Do we apply the aging effects?) posted in Rules & Errata forum comment posted by uncle_jimbo Players don't, by default, get their ability scores randomly from the population. It could be argued that the effects just disappear within choices made at character generation. Higher age brackets (adjusted by PL) might start to alter minimum and maximum ability scores within general human limits, which might have some visible effect.
If the character actually gains 2 more ability score points, that's a relatively costly benefit. They could make up the necessary skill points by starting at 4th level, with skill points spent, slowing their advancement for a while but getting closer to access to some achievement benefits.
It's a stellar nation benefit and I could also compare it to mutant advantages, but I think fiddling with those would saddle the character with odd mechanics that don't apply to other characters, more than would benefit the game.
Or just apply
mature modifiers to everyone assuming that the party got together from a group of similar age and social connections. If a player sees their character as a young adult or adolescent, they can choose those modifiers and take some mechanical implications for a narrative choice.
