Myrina
Myrina (was Rhodia) posted in Homemade Settings, World Building & Galaxy Construction forum comment posted by uncle_jimbo It isn't perfectly formed, but I'm encouraged by some recent parallels and it should move along a couple of ideas:
In
coloured dreams, minds divide the realm of experience, creating duality: what exists for us and what it is not. Everything real has more than one colour.
The red god, the blood god, the war god, the god of humanity, the Tribe
The yellow god, whose colours are white, black, yellow and blue, the change time brings, the god of the field and tomb, the pus god, Orcus, Entropy
The black square, the black circle, the white void, the many-coloured god, the god difficult to know, the god of sorcerers
The Green Man, who is green, blue and black, the god in water and stone, the vast god, Everything
This bears a very crooked connection to current games of
image pong. (I thought it was coagulated fear? No doubt they can contain both.) I had thought to describe the first scene as a Lost Sea at the south pole, reflecting Korus (with much that would imply) and the
Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym.
