It scans every macroscopic organism within 10 meters and automatically cures them of most aliments by gently destroying the infectious agents. Damaged tissue requires contact for at least a few minutes. It can repair brain damage but any lost memories are gone forever.
When dealing with dangerous macrobes (the aforementioned actively hostile pathogens), the suit has beam weapons that act like blaster pistols but only against such creatures. In all other ways treat it as a body tank without other weapons.
