List of mutagens posted in Gamma World forum comment posted by derek_holland Some mutagens cause non-standard mutations. Here are two similar examples:
- Mitotic blueore emits a form of radiation that causes those affected to split into two or more duplicates. The original character's mass is distributed among them, though they can grow back to the original size with enough food (this takes a few weeks for two).
- Meiotic greenore does the same but in male mammals and female birds, the result is pairs of opposite sex individuals (so two, four, or six characters/critters are the result).
Both are the origins of the orlens, who are errors in the division process. Most large orlen settlements have some greenore or blueore hidden away.
