You also have to decide on what PL the Ancients were. I usually go for 7 to 9, depending on the laws of physics I want to mutilate.
With those in mind, the system can be anything you want it to be. Multiple large moons of Venus and Mars, possible stolen from the gas giants or created by energy to mass conversion. Alien atmospheres of Mercury and Mars, stuff that seems to stick to the planets and ignore solar winds. Luna covered with a massive urban ruin populated by vacuum adapted mutants that play tag with police bots that try to round them up for their own safety (back into broken domes).
