An individual lands on a silver birch and is struck by earth lightning (i.e. from the ground). Its waste is silver quills that are molted over a two week period in late Summer. This silver is a point of contention between dwarves and druids as it is much easier to collect and process than ore.
The forest ogre feeds by converting humanoids into non-sapient, monstrous plants. The giants are a much bigger danger than black unicorns or giant spiders as their creations are hard to detect until they attack.
Muses are self-modified creatures that feed on teaching. The more people they educate, the more satisfied they become.
Symbols and Glyphs don't just glow. They transform when activated into spectral things that attack the targets.
At least one species has clothing as part of their bodies. These can be removed without permanent harm. Low lying fruit- coat/arms, hat/head or face, cloak/wings or tail.
Flying skull golems are made from at least three species and two additional materials. Each has an elemental breath weapon that may have a side effect, such as corpse animation or dispelling buffs.
If a giant's skull is used as the heart (or keystone) of a fortress, all its defenders gain Strength and Constitution bonuses.
One druid curse fuses poached animal carcasses with trees, creating horrors that deform the ground. This is powerful enough to bring down castle walls and mountain sides.
Citadel Helms contain cities of tiny people created when the armor was forged. These people provide company, (usually useful) advice, and post death revenge.
