| Entering a mental tangent or other sort of reality could be an important part of being a psychic. It is where they get their energy points from and possibly training from ascended mindwalkers, those who were lucky enough to send their minds into this place before their deaths. |
It could be a kind of tangent, though the settings we have contemplate other kinds of spaces and forms of existence. If mental energy pervades the universe (by more than one model), beings could exist purely as fluctuations within it, as biological minds already do with the anchor of physical bodies.
