Several ports welcome a ship of clown robots. They provide humor in the calm season, something needed when waiting for the wind to return.

The Great Well contains an amphibian market. The toads trade goods found in the buried city beneath for surface items they need.

The Dark Tunnels are populated by mutants that have no desire to ever see the sun again. If they are exposed to UV, the mutants grow plant mutations, something they consider horrendous and fatal (which they are not).

The Trading Post is centered on a nanofac. It is near the shore of the ocean and when the artifact is powered up or supplied with raw materials, the peoples from underwater are informed and send traders. This is a time of wealth for all involved. Raiders are a problem, but they have learned not to tangle with sea monsters.

A fallen space station holds a codex for astronomy, the only one left in the world. No one knows it is there, otherwise everyone interested in the night sky will do anything to get it. This codex allows the user to understand the jargon of Ancient astronomers.

Firefly mutants have found that their light isn't strong enough to drive their nocturnal predators away. They have begun to build mounds and cover them into bioluminescent fungi. These glow brightly enough that no day walkers want to visit that community.
