Theft of luck can be detected. It has become a cottage industry for hedge mages, who sell more luck theft detectors than love potions.

A Box of Flight Theft is normally used for grounding foes but can be used by the wielder to fly. It takes both hands and the flight is a little slower and less agile than the contained flight power. Opening the box frees the power back to whoever or whatever it was stolen from.
A curse used by some fey nobility is placed on alcohol. Once everyone around a cup filled with the booze is rendered intoxicated, a portal forms in the cup and out come tiny fairies that steal coins and gems. If caught, the fairies take on the shape of coins and stay that way until their liege orders them otherwise. This is a way for the fey to find hidden mortal treasure hoards.
