Consecrated ground needs barriers and markers, the latter to show all of its existence. Walls are the most common but canals are a fairly common barriers as well. If the either or both are removed, the consecration slowly fades away.
Some enchanted caltrops have an anchoring component, keeping the victim stuck to the spot as a curse.
Pyramid power comes from the dead, entombed demigods within them. The more demigods and larger the pyramid, the more power is created.
Many quarries for the surface world exist in the Chthonic Lands. The amount of stone allows for super-sized monuments. The oldest of these are so worn, they appear to be mountains to the ignorant.
Some mountains are covered in multiple, atypical biomes. This is a sign that ley lines have been rerouted or some fey noble family has taken residence.
Druids occasionally create long-lasting light sources in dark forests. These keep plants alive that would otherwise go extinct in hopes that the darkness will be eventually defeated or destroyed.
The Astral plane is visible every night for it is space. But if that is so, what are stars? Migrating shoals of souls, divine vehicles, reflections of the cities of the world, something even stranger?
Healing potions include a mineral component. It is being mined out in many regions and the result is more than more adventurers dying in the field. More diseases, more maimed/incapacitated people, and an increased death toll among the entire population. Attempts to find a replacement have failed and the gods are unwilling to make more of it.
